Students of the University of Prishtina complete the 3-month professional development program with KosovaLive

Jul 16, 2018

For more than a decade, KosovaLive has offered on-work skill and expert mentorship to University of Prishtina students from the Department of Albanian Literature and the Department of English Language.

Students have had an opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced professionals in the following fields: journalism, translation and adaptation in the English language. In the newsroom, students and graduates develop their writing, critical thinking, translation and teamwork skills; while, in the field, they enhance their reporting and interviewing abilities.

Most recently, Kosovalive has collaborated with 4 students from the English Language and Literature department, Lyra Goga, Rineta Hajrullahu, Lurjana Krasniqi and Vesa Prapashtica. The students completed the 3-month professional development in KosovaLive by translating and compiling articles in two languages (Albanian-English and vice versa) under the mentorship of KosovaLive’s staff. All articles are posted on Kosovalive360’s web site (www.kosovalive360.com).
