A police operation in the whole country is conducted in the fight against smuggling

Kosovo Police, in the effort to implement its strategic objectives in the prevention of criminal offenses, respectively the uncompromised fight against smuggling of goods, today in the early morning hours begun the implementation of a police operation which includes several different locations in four regions of Kosovo such as Prishtina, Peja, Mitrovica South and Mitrovica North.

All these police actions are being carried out in coordination with the competent prosecutions and courts, where checks and raids are being carried out by their orders in various locations such as residential houses, business premises, warehouses of goods, etc.

In this police operation which is still ongoing, are engaged Kosovo Customs and units of different police profiles, that are in support of this police operation.

As a result of intensive investigations and professional actions of the Kosovo Police and Customs, so far have been seized various goods and evidence which serve as material evidence.

Kosovo Police in cooperation and coordination with the competent authorities will continue to carry out its duties and responsibilities at the national level, in order to prevent criminal activities, prevent the smuggling of goods and the destruction of criminal groups.
