Are graffiti messages signs of wider acceptance of gay rights in Kosovo?
Statistics on public perception published this year by the OSCE show that 44 percent of Kosovar women, and more than 70 percent of Kosovar men, are somewhat or very uncomfortable with gay men. Around half of Kosovars (64 percent of men and 41 percent of women) would be ashamed if their child was gay or lesbian.

During the 3-day workshop (16,17 and 18 January), Kosovalive along with the participants discussed topics that relate to the importance of storytelling about the environmental degradation in Kosovo, the impact of global warming on the poor and the rich, and the impact of water misuse on children’s lives.

For Pristina’s disabled citizens, accessible buildings and walkways are still few and far between
Even something as simple as crossing Agim Ramadani Street becomes a chore for people in wheelchairs. Near Skanderbeg Square, for instance, the curb has no slope leading into the crosswalk. To get across the road there, wheelchair users have to travel a few dozen meters to find an intersection they can roll through without falling into the road.
